Permission

Happy rainy Monday, Rowe folx! After such a spectacular weekend, I guess we can deal with a little rain.

Attached you will find two things:

1. A permission slip for a field trip for students in Grades 1-6 (P3, 3/4, and 5/6 classes) to go to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum on Wednesday, October 26. Since it is almost a three-hour drive, we'll be leaving early (7:00 a.m.) and returning late (5:00-ish p.m.) that day. The permission slip has more details. We may have room for one chaperone from each class on the bus (chaperones who choose to drive their own car will be able to accompany the school on the field trip, all you need is an up-to-date CORI with the school). Indicate on the permission slip if you're interested. With the P1 and P2 classes going to Pine Hill Orchard this week (Thursday), and this trip next week, it's exciting to get back to some of the old traditions.

2. Also attached you will find a letter looking for interested adults to be After-School Activity Leaders. Please read the letter when you have a chance, and let me know if you (or someone you know) might be interested.

A couple of other quick notes: In the category of getting back to some old traditions, we had our first All-School Chorus today, and look for information coming soon about the Winter Enrichment Program (thanks to everyone who filled out the survey, and if you didn't have a chance, the link was sent out by email today). Also, we have our first lockdown practice Wednesday morning, classes have been talking about what will happen and when so no one is surprised.

Enjoy your day.
